In the Act is part of a twenty-piece series titled Animal Silhouettes, an exploration into further altering the documented drawing act. The black ink flattens animal heads onto the bodies of the performer, artist, and audience alike. The alteration of these photographs is another way to revisit the energy and spontaneity of the live act.
