The Right Whale is a life-size drawing of an adult North Atlantic Right whales, the kind that annually visit Provincetown waters.
Provincetown was built on the riches of the fishing and whaling industry, and although the capture and commerce of whales has ended, the town remains a ritual springtime destination for these endangered creatures.
